Fujiiya Karyo

This is a sweets café adjoining the long-established Fujiiya which specializes in maple leaf-shaped manju buns and is located on the front avenue of Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima-cho, Hatsukaichi City. It serves freshly-made maple leaf-shaped manju as well as many other kinds of sweets including zenzai (red bean soup). Some of the tables have a sea view and customers can take a break from sightseeing and visiting the shrine with some tea and manju.
