A Japanese garden on Shimokamagari-jima Island in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which long served as a cornerstone of maritime traffic in the area as well as a port for Korean delegation to Japan and for samurai traveling to and from Edo. A circular garden built around a central pond, the Sannose Seto serves as a background. Visitors can enjoy the garden’s beautiful pines and scenery. There are several museums inside the garden which presents the history of Korean delegation to Japan, a museum displaying a collection of lamps, an art museum modeled after an Edo period guardhouse, and a porcelain museum.

朝鮮通信使などについて学べる展示館です。館内（園内）は広く、いくつかの建物に分かれています。個人的にそのなかで好きなのが、朝鮮通信使に出していた食べ物のレプリカが展示されているところです。なかは撮影禁止なので写真はありませんが、贅をつくした料理のレプリカは見応えあります。

呉市下蒲刈島の三之瀬地区にあります。この地区は昔は多くの船が立ち寄った場所で、朝鮮通信使なども訪れたそうです。そのときの様子などがわかる資料館もあります。
