Roadside Station Toyosaka

Roadside Station Toyosaka is a barrier-free area that is well received for having over 40 light dishes, particularly onigiri (rice-balls) using delicious Niigata rice. The nearby Goose Farm is free to enter, and you can feed the gees, so it is very popular. You can also purchase unusual pickled tulips and products made with goose eggs. Five minutes by car via Toyosaka-Niigatahigashiko Interchange on the Nihonkai-Tohoku Highway.

新新バイパスにある道の駅で、日本そばやソフトクリーム、地域で取れた野菜などを販売しています。ダチョウもいますよ。

読み方は（とよさか）と読みます。バイパスを走っていると道の駅の看板が見えたので入ってみると。。。第一印象で「サービスエリアみたいだなぁ・・・造りといい、建物といい、標識といい・・・」と思っていると「道の駅発祥の地」と書かれた石碑が！「新潟県で第一号ってこと？」と思いつつ見てみると、なんと全国で最初の道の駅でした。元々は1988年にバイパス沿いに「一般道に設置されたパーキングエリア」という位...

国道７号線（新新バイパス）沿いにあります。上下線どちらからも出入りできますが、周辺の道路からは入れません。道の駅には、大きなビジョンがあり、いろいろな場所の道路状況を見ることができます。売店がありますが、あまり地域の物は置いてありませんでした。時々上空を、新潟空港に離着陸する飛行機が通ります。
