With its stalactite and stalagmite formations, Sekigahara Daishonyu-do (Stalactite Cavern) is a real natural wonder. Visitors can view rainbow trout swimming in the clear water that gushes out from the cave, and there is an abundance of Paleozoic fossils to be seen. The area around the Cavern is full of natural beauty in every season of the year. Besides the spring cherry blossom, the wisteria are in full bloom around May 10 each year, and the autumn foliage is a sight for sore eyes; the autumn foliage season starts around mid-October, but the best time to see the leaves is from around mid-November until early December.

何でもない、只の小規模な鍾乳洞でした。７月-８月は無休らしいが、普段は水曜日は定休？日らしい。駐車場も完備されていて小規模だが、それなりには楽しめる。但し、料金は京都の社寺並のぼったくり、大人７００円、子供３００円、幼児まで有料？で２００円・・・子供と幼児くらいは無料にしてやれよ！
暑い旅行の〆は鍾乳洞でした。

入坑すると予想をはるかに越える涼しさ、外は三十五度を越える猛暑。想像通り十五度前後の温度だと思います。冬暖かく夏涼しい天国でした。様々な奇石奇岩で飽きの来ない518メートルの散策となりました。途中から水路にはニジマスが放流されており眼を楽しませてくれました。

猛暑の中、涼めればと思い来訪しました。予想通り涼しいが、中が狭いため先に歩いている方々が立ち止まると追い越せない、そのため流れを止めない様に意識して歩くと直ぐに終わってしまう。他の鍾乳洞と比べるとこじんまりしている割には料金が高いと感じた。
