This hot spring spa located inside Shimokitayama Sports Park, is popular for its natural hot spring waters said to give you soft, smooth skin. The spa has two bathing areas, the Maki no Yu, which is framed with fragrant century-old yew plum pine wood, and the Tochi no Yu, which has a stone-lined waterfall bath and an ultrasonic bubble bath. Each of the bathing areas has indoor and outdoor baths. The spa also has a restaurant that serves cuisine made with local ingredients.

山奥の温泉施設

下北山村のスポーツ公園近くにある温泉施設。バンガローに宿泊した夜に一風呂浴びに行った。山奥の温泉だが、施設が整っていることもあり、いわゆる秘境の温泉という感じはしない。サウナはコロナの影響で使用中止になっていた。

サウナもあり水風呂もありスポーツの後の火照った身体を洗い癒すにはもってこいのお風呂ですが湯温が低い。爽快感に欠けます。ぬるま湯があるなら熱湯にして欲しい。キャンプやスポーツ関係で利用者があるのでしょうがこの設備と価格では風呂に入ることが目的では利用しませんレストランでは、とんかつ単品800円ダムカレーにイタリアンな品目もあります。この環境でイタリアンは旅人には不向きで選択する余地はありません...
