This restaurant located at the entrance to Mt. Horaiji in Kadoya-shimoura, Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture, is famous for its Gohei mocha (rice cake). The restaurant offers set meals made with the abundant local produce found in the hills. Their shitake set meal made with home-grown shitake mushrooms is especially popular. Other dishes include, miso-dengaku (skewed and roasted tofu with sweet miso sauce), barley mixed rice with grated Japanese yam, fresh ayu sweetfish from summer to autumn, and boar hot pot in the winter. With large windows, the inside of the restaurant is bright and airy and there is also an area where souvenirs are sold.

椎茸が有名らしいが・・・

椎茸フライが有名らしく行ったのですが、時期が悪いのか思っていた椎茸フライにガックリ！！もっと肉厚の椎茸フライを思って行ったが普通でした。直虎膳 1,480円は色々入っててお得です。

無料駐車場の横にあり、この駐車場から多くの人が鳳来寺と登山ルートを目指すと思います。約4時間の登山を終えた後はここでゆっくり体を休めながら食事をするのは格別です。五平餅や山菜が美味しかったです。

鳳来寺山参道にあるレストラン。観光地のレストランにありがちな雑な料理ではない。椎茸のフライは肉厚の椎茸をさっと揚げて出してくれた。蕎麦もうまかった。田口線の在りし日の映像が放映されていたのも嬉しかった。
