Sobadokoro Hashimoto
Sobadokoro Hashimoto, one street west of National Route 255, on the northeast of Odawara Castle is a soba noodle restaurant. This well-established restaurant initially started as a food stall near Odawara Castle in the Tenpo period (the mid-1th9 century). It preserves the generations old recipe using uncompromised ingredients directly sourced from producers including soba noodle flour (buckwheat flour) from a contracted farmer in Hokkaido. In addition to soba noodles, it offers sweets using soba noodle flour such as soba kudzu starch cake and soba ice cream.
