Hakone Bushi-no-sato Art Museum

This is an art museum opposite “Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands” at Sengokuhara, Hakone Town. It houses armor and weapons, Ukiyoe prints, and tea ceremony items from between the Muromachi period to the end of the Edo period, constantly displaying about 300 items. There is also an area where visitors can try on armor and shogunate police (Shinsengumi) clothes.

小さい子供には辛いかも

建物は小さいが、展示品はそれなりに充実している。鎧、刀、鉄砲等、戦国時代好きには面白いと思うが館内がとにかく寒かった。展示品保存状態を保つ為かも知れないが、この時期にはきつい。自分は家族で行ったが、歴史に興味がない子供には辛い様で、早めに退館する羽目になってしまい残念だった。浮世絵や百人一首等、女性や子供に興味を持たせる材料はあるのになんか勿体無い施設だ。
「もののふのさと」と読むらしい

箱根仙石原にあるコスプレができる博物館でした。武士の里と書いて「もののふのさと」と読むらしいです。鎧や甲冑なども展示された美術館ですが、ちょっと微妙な感じが。。。
甲冑体験

湿生花園のすぐそばにあります。思っていた以上に展示品が多く見応えありますが、それぞれの解説がいまひとつという印象でした。自分は体験しませんでしたが、甲冑を身につけることができます（有料）家族連れのご主人が体型の都合上、体験できず代わりに奥様が着付けしていました。
