This is a kamameshi (rice, meat and vegetable dish served in a small pot) specialist and day-trip hot spring facility in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo County, Kanagawa Prefecture, often featured in guidebooks and television programs. Alongside the eatery is a natural hot spring bathing facility, and during the 40 minutes it takes for the kamameshi to cook one can enjoy the time in the thick Owakudani waters. The kamameshi is a luxuriant mix of chicken meat, fish and vegetables harvested from the mountainside. The baths are paid entry, and it is possible to choose either bathing or meal only.

お店の座席に着座してお茶が出てきて注文を取りに来るまで５分、釜めしが座席にくるまで10分、そこから釜めしに火をつけて、40分待ち、約１時間待ちます。事前に電話で予約しておくと着座してから早いよ・・！
温泉と釜飯のお店

源泉掛け流しの濁り湯と釜飯を楽しめるお店です。お店は畳敷きで4人がけのテーブルが基本です。釜飯だけも楽しめますが、折角ですので是非とも温泉も楽しんでもらいたいお店です。浴室は田舎の家庭用の浴室の感じですが、お湯は硫黄泉の濁り湯で掛け流しです。露天はなく浴槽は1つで洗い場は3つですので4−5人で一杯な感じです。シャンプーと石鹸はあります。タオルは持参の必要ありかと思います（販売は不明）。入浴料...
釜飯屋さんでした

仙石原で日帰り温泉を見つけて行ってみましたが釜飯屋さんだったので温泉だけの利用ができるか確認したらOKでした。内湯のみですが大涌谷から引いた酸性の温泉は少々熱めの湯でした。短時間の入浴でも体の芯から温まりました。
