Kaida Highlands Saisaikan
Saisaikan is a farmers’ market that stocks freshly picked local vegetables, mountain vegetables, mushrooms, processed foods, pickled items, and various specialty Kiso products and Kiso-brand items. It is a limited liability company created by the joint investment of 216 residents in 2009. It opened as a market along with the restaurant “Aibashitei,” which specializes in local cuisine. You can really feel the community love here. It’s about 25 minutes from JR Kiso-Fukushima Station by car.
