Suwa City Kohan Park (Lakeside Park)

Suwa City Kohan Park was built in 1953 when the Lake Suwa was dredged to form the shoreline. It features a footbath, a lake geyser center, a pleasure boat boarding point, an outdoor stage, and more for year-round enjoyment. A fireworks display is held over Lake Suwa every year on August 15, and the first Saturday in September is a national competition for showing off new fireworks. It’s about a 15-minute drive from the Suwa Interchange.

Great place for a walk post-meal

If you filled up at a tasty restaurant in Suwa, the park is a nice place to take a walk and enjoy the view. Best for a stroll, and theres a little onsen stream where you can dip your feet.
公園内にある無料の足湯

湖畔にある足湯に入りました。以前も入ったことがありました。あいにく当時は寒かったのでお湯が温くて長く入っていてもあまり温まりませんでした。湯の吹き出し口に近い方は少し温かったです。
湖岸沿いにちょこちょこと駐車場もあって、ちょっと立ち寄るには良いかもです。

湖岸沿いにちょこちょこと駐車場もあって、ちょっと立ち寄るには良いかもです。公園内は整備されており、良い雰囲気ですよ。夏には花火大会もあるようです。お勧めします。
