Itsuo Art Museum

This is a museum located in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture. The museum exhibits approximately 5,400 artworks that Ichizo Kobayashi, the founder of Hankyu Electric Railway, collected throughout his life. There are 15 certified national Important Cultural Properties and 20 Important Artworks. The famous portrait of Toyotomi Hideyoshi by Kano Mitsunobu, used in history textbooks, is also stored in this museum. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays visitors can also enjoy Sokushinan, a reproduced tea room in the museum which Itsuo (Ichizo) personally planned.

小林一三記念館を見て立ち寄りました。昭和モダン図鑑という阪急グループの宝塚歌劇や野球などポスターが展示されていました。時代の変化を感じさせる展示会だったと思います。前の阪急デパートのイラストが懐かしかったです。大阪の代表的企業グループである阪急の展示あればもっと質の良いポスターの展示があっても良かったと思います。以前大阪府立博物館の海峡を渡る布展で戦前の大阪の企業のポスターが展示されていてイメー...

阪急グループの創業者小林一三の収集品を展示している美術館。期間を決めて特別展を催している。あまり大きくないので、ゆっくり見るのにちょうどいい。たまたま地元のスタンプラリーのイベントがあって、無料で入ることができた。
さすが小林一三！鈴木華邨を後援していた審美眼に感服です。
