Made with meringue and whole wheat flour, the shop’s popular spongy soufflé pancakes are served topped with a hearty dollop of whipped cream and fruit. The café also serves meal-style pancakes, like a take on the croque-monsieur, and it becomes particularly crowded during lunchtime on weekends and holidays. Furnished with comfortable chairs and tables, the café’s subdued atmosphere makes it easy for men to come in as well. The shop’s “3D cappuccinos,” adorned with animals and other three dimensional latte art foam decoration, are particularly popular.
