The directly operated shop of the long-established bamboo product maker founded in 1898, it is located about a three-minute walk from the Tozai Line's Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City. They are famous for their flower baskets that continue to be made with unique designs, and for the utensils named minotake developed by the designer Makoto Koizumi. Many tourists from both Japan and abroad visit to find bamboo items carefully made one by one.
