A Kyoto confectionery shop located at the intersection of Aneyakoji-dori Avenue and Kurumayacho-dori Avenue near Karasuma Oike Station. Founded in 1804 by a Fushimi Daigo kettle caster, the shop has provided its wares to the Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle. The specially ordered wooden molds the shop once used have been repurposed to serve as the frame of the shop’s sign today. The shop is most famous for its “Kyo no Yosuga,” a box of mixed sweets divided into five compartments containing dried confections incorporating the design of seasonal flowers.

季節ごとに内容が変わる「京のよすが」一番小さいサイズのものをいつも購入します。店舗はこちらのみで、通販などもやられていないので、こちらの店頭でしか購入できません。
