This is the Shinkyogoku branch of Tamaru Inbo, built next to Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine and here they sell seals and stamps. Their original-brand “Kyo Ufufu Stamp” in particular adds charm to illustrations and their original picture postcards combining several stamps is popular among international tourists. There are over 2,000 types of stamps available and the accumulation of 100 years techniques means beautifully finished images. They also sell stone seal stock, particularly demanded by artists who need to stamp their article’s seals.
