Motomachi Hiyorikan
Hakodate Motomachi Hiyorikan is a western-style house located at the intersection of “Hiyori-zaka” which goes up to Funadama Shrine and “Minatogaoka street” which goes towards the town hall from Motomachi Roman Catholic Church. Built in 1921, it is designated as a “Hakodate City Traditional Building”. The tranquil moss green exterior, as well as the environs which are also a photogenic location, has an atmosphere in which you will instinctively want to take photographs. There are works by Hakodate authors and handmade miscellaneous goods for sale in the shop.
