Hekketsu Monument
The Hakodate Goryokaku Memorial Hall is located behind Myoshinji Temple at the foot of Mt. Hakodate. The Hakodate Goryokaku Festival is held every year in mid-May, with people dressed as the former shogunate and new government forces touring the historic site, and a memorial service is held on June 25.
