English Rose Garden

A rose garden located inside the Karuizawa Taliesin resort complex in Nagakura, Karuizawa Town, Kitasaku County, Nagano Prefecture. The garden cultivates some 2,000 English rose plants spanning 1,800 cultivars. English roses are a type of colorful, summer-blooming variety created by crossbreeding older cultivars. The garden's roses bloom from late June through late September, and during this time a variety of events are held here as well.
