Iizuna Resort Ski Area

A ski area built on the eastern slope of Mt. Reisenji, one of the peaks of Mt. Iizuna, which itself is counted as one of the Five Peaks of Northern Nagano. The resort has a variety of courses for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers to enjoy, including the 2,500-meter Long Course, the 100-meter wide Flat Burn, and the natural snow Powder Course. Snowboards can also be used on all of the courses. The resort is also a place where families with children can have fun, and in addition to a kids' park with walking course and sledding hill popular with children, the resort has a daycare facility for children between the ages of 18 months and six years.

ナイターが2月29日まで毎日営業、長野市街の夜景を見ながらのナイター滑走は最高、長野市街から３０分で別世界。１枚バーンのゲレンデでの滑りは爽快そのもの。
ナイターでコソ練を

長野市民のスキー場として最も利用されているスキー場。コースも飯綱スキー場よりも充実しており、三年程、ナイターシーズン券を買ってコソ練に励みました。ナイターは人も少なく快適でした。

昭和のスキーブームに乗ってオープンしたこのスキー場にも多くのスキー場が抱える問題がある。このスキー場がある飯綱山には東南側に長野市が管理する飯綱高原スキー場があり、リゾートスキー場はやや北に向いてはいて積雪はこちらの方が多い。やや北側というロケーションだがスキーゲレンデとしては初心者向けのコースがメインで、近隣に有名スキーゲレンデがあるため利用者は多くない。管理者がたびたび変わるという苦境にあり...
