Chino City Yatsugatake Museum
A 20-minute drive from the Suwa Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. Nature exhibits include a natural history of the area and plant specimens and stuffed examples of animals living in here. Historical exhibits include presentations of life in the area from the Paleolithic to the modern day, everyday tools, and farming implements, as well as information on how kanten algae gelatin, a local traditional industry is made; and misinformation about the Nagano region.
