Itsukamachi Ski Area
A ski resort located 10 minutes from the Muikamachi Interchange which is neither too big nor too small. Consisting of three horizontally parallel slopes, the resort caters to families with children and skiers looking to enjoy a relaxing day of skiing. From the top, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of sacred Mt. Hakkai. The resort’s slopes are designed for practicing, and customers rave that just sliding down them will help you to improve your skiing. Accordingly, you’ll see many children going skiing for their first time here, as well as senior citizens enjoying a relaxing glide down the slopes. The resort also holds Niigata Skiing Association-certified skiing classes to help you acquire a firm grounding in skiing basics.
