Tokugawa Ieyasu's Final Base Camp

This is a historic site in Jinbano Park, Sekigahara, Sekigahara Town, Fuwa County. During the battle of Sekigahara in 1600, Ieyasu Tokugawa moved his base from Momojiyama (current national historic site Tokugawa Ieyasu first location). It is reported that the messenger to Hideaki Kobayakawa, who betrayed the Western Army, was also sent from here.

関ヶ原の戦いの東軍の徳川家康の最後の陣地跡。ここで首実検をしていたかと思うと歴史ファンにとってはほんとうに感慨深いスポットです。特に何があるわけでもなく石碑くらいですが石田三成との実際の距離感などが分かり歴史ファンにはたまらないスポット。
戦死者を偲ぶ雰囲気がありました

岐阜関ヶ原古戦場記念館で関ヶ原の合戦に関して勉強した後、数分歩いて徳川家康最後陣跡を訪れました。敷地は一辺100メートルの三角形の形をしていて、神社や戦死者を偲ぶような碑がありました。時間があれば古戦場記念館から歩いて行かれてはと思います。

歴史記念館のすぐ傍の公園内にあります。ただ碑が立っているだけですが、記念館で知識を入れてから行くと、それなりに味わえます。
