Mori no Yakata Woody

Museum / Science Museum
"Located about 40 minutes via National Route 340 from the Hachinohe Expressway’s Kunohe Interchange, this community facility on the southern slope of the prefectural nature park Hiraniwa Kogen is along National Route 281 with the theme of ""interactions between trees, greenery and culture.” The wooden building is made mainly of local Japanese larch and Japanese red pine, and you can fully enjoy the goodness of wood with its characteristic structure. There is a store that sells Kuzumaki wine inside where you can sample all products for free. The adjoining Charcoal Science Museum has exhibits on the charcoal manufacturing process and futuristic depictions."
