Maesawa Onsen Maizuru no Yu

This day-use hot spring bathhouse is located a three-minute drive from Hiraizumi-Maesawa Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. It boasts a bath with a spectacular view. It is a sodium chloride spring (a hypotonic alkaline high temperature spring), which is said to have a variety of medicinal effects such as being beneficial for chronic dermatitis and nerve pain. Additionally, it is said to warm the body to the core and to have a smoothing effect on the skin. It is fully equipped with changing rooms and large bathing areas, a deep pool, electric bath and sauna. In addition to the large hall, there is also a paid Japanese-style rest room, for visitors to relax in. There is also a massage corner in the lobby, where visitors can relax and peacefully while away the time.
