Teishoji Temple
This temple located in Kitagawa, Saijo City is said to have been established in the Kamakura period. The approximately 400-year-old wisteria vines on the temple grounds have been designated as a Prefectural Natural Monument. Known as the Kannondo no Fuji, the wisteria arbors extend for 16 meters from east to west and 14 meters from north to south. Many people visit to see the flowers bloom in late April.
