"This Rinzai sect Myoshinji Temple branch temple is an eight-minute walk from JR Kiyosu Station. The temple was originally established by the samurai Oda Nobukatsu to memorialize his father, the mighty Oda Nobunaga; the temple was then moved to Osu in Nagoya in 1610. The temple was again moved to its current location in 1830. It is said the temple's official title of ""Koshozan Sokenin"" is derived from the fact that it was founded by the high priest Minzan and that it was created to memorialize Nobunaga. The temple's collection of treasures which have been donated to it include prefecturally designated Cultural Properties such as silk vestments from Tang China and a wooden statue of Avalokitesvara, as well as Nobunaga's ""burnt helm."""

すばらしい寺宝

清洲の北の方にあります。立派なお寺で、本堂には織田信長公の兜がありました。当時の日本の武将が身につけていたものとは違ったように見えました。この兜は、織田信雄公が本能寺の変後に捜索させ捜し当てたものとのことです。また、尾張藩初代藩主義直公より開祖のご住職に贈られた杯も展示してありました。由緒あるお寺だということが分かります。

JR清洲駅の北側、徒歩10分ほどのところにあります。織田信雄が信長の菩提を弔うために創建し、その後清須越で名古屋大須に寺が移されましたが、旧地に再建されたお寺です。信長が着用していて、本能寺から運び出されたという焼兜などの文化財があります。参拝したらすごくご丁寧に対応いただけ、兜も見せていただけました。

清州城から少し離れたところにある織田家ゆかりのお寺。こじんまりした質素な境内です。本能寺の焼け跡から見つかった信長の焼け兜を所蔵しているそうですが、拝観には事前予約が必要とのことです。
