There is a selection of works built around the theme of ""Hometown Culture: Top 100,"" which features the work of the Hokkaido sculpting group ""Sunk."" They use only stone to create their pieces, made with the idea of the Colosseum in mind, such as their ""Negative Mound"" and ""Afternoon Hill."""

札幌市内でも郊外にある大きな公園。高台にあり岩肌がむき出しになっていて過去に岩を切り出していた跡地がそのまま。人工的な切り出し口が異次元。迫力あり。無料パーキングありで訪れやすい
かつては石の採掘場だった場所

札幌の石は硬く質がよいと評判でした。そんな石の採掘が行われていた場所が石山緑地です。むき出しの岩ときれいな緑がある公園です。秋にはきれいな紅葉が楽しめる市内で数少ない自然いっぱいの場所です。
