Hakutsuru Fine Art Museum
This art museum is located in the 6 Chome Sumiyoshi-yamate, Higashinada-ku, Kobe City. It opened in 1934 based on the ancient art collection of the seventh-generation owner of Hakutsuru Breweries, Jihei Kano. The museum houses over 1,400 antiques including National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties, such as bronzeware, ceramics, books and paintings, and is open only during the spring and autumn exhibitions. In addition, there is also a new building that holds a Middle Eastern carpet collection.
