Daiza Hoshi Pond
One of the Iizuna Highland's main sightseeing spots, not far from Zenkoji Temple. A legend says the pond came about when water accumulated in the footprint of a mythical giant known as Daidarabocchi. Located at the edge of the highland, there are many restaurants, convenience stores, and farm stands in the vicinity. Other facilities dotting the area include a campground, athletic field, and a boat launch. It gets busy with families on holidays and is great for picnics or a walk. There's a path around it you can complete in 20 minutes.
