This day-use bathhouse adjoins Fureai Yamabekan, a community center with a distinctive kura storehouse-style design consisting of white plaster walls and a tiled roof. The atmospheric bathhouse stands at the entranceway to the Utsukushigahara Plateau. The waters of the bathhouse' alkaline simple spring are colorless, flavorless, and odorless; somewhat tepid in temperature, they have a soft feel. The bathhouse is open from early in the morning until late at night year round, and as such if you time it right, you might just find yourself relaxing in what is effectively your own private hot spring bathhouse. There is a classroom on the second floor of the bathhouse where you can learn how to make soba noodles (advance reservation required) but be sure to make your reservation early - the bathhouse does not accept reservations the same day or one day in advance.

美ヶ原温泉の日帰り入浴施設

松本駅から車で20分ほど。美ヶ原温泉の日帰り入浴施設。内湯と露天がありますが、かなりの人気で人が多いです。循環濾過で、温泉の力は感じられません。入浴料310円、駐車場はかなり広いです。

松本市内在住のため何度か行きましたが、お湯が塩素臭い。脱衣所が狭く、二階に休憩所があるみたいですが使用不可。受付前に座るところがありますが、15人くらいが座ったらいっぱいになります。毎回現地のおばさま達のモラルの無さに嫌な思いをしてもう行かなくなりました。場所取りが酷く、空いていないので場所取りしているところを使っていたら、おばさんが来て他が空いたからどけと言う。場所取りダメですよね...
