Amami Forest Materiya Waterfall
This vast nature reserve is maintained on the vast site of Fukumoto Basin, which covers approximately 20 hectares. In the Mountain Stream Zone, there is a waterfall called Materiya-no-Taki, where the sunlight's reflections create a mysterious atmosphere. Visitors can also swim in the basin of the waterfall in the summer. There are also two more zones, which are the Play Zone and the Water Zone, where visitors can experience all that Amami Forest has to offer.
