Hakuun-san Torii Kannon

This temple is in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture. Boasting of about 30 hectares of land, it was chosen one of Saitama's Top 100 Sightseeing Spots. The founder, Hiranuma Yataro, spent 30 years constructing the buildings spread all over the mountain. The spirit of Xuan Zang, who wrote Saiyuki (Journey to the West), is enshrined in Xuan Zang (Japanese: Gensho Sanzo) tower. This is also a famous fall-leaf viewing spot.

山奥の尊い姿に感動

名栗湖のハイキングの帰りに見つけました。山の頂上にそびえ立つ観音像は神々しく光っていました。また、下にある観音堂には自由に入ることができ、しばらく瞑想をするのに持って来いの場所です。
ターニップから見ると山の上に観音像があった

今日は奥武蔵グリーンラインをドライブして刈場坂峠からR299号を横切り、奥村茶屋・正丸峠を過ぎてR 53号を名栗方面に向かいました。お昼になったのでターニップに入って焼きカレーを食べました。店内から観音像が見えた。鳥居観音の救世大観音です。右上の山の上に見えます。

徒歩で登るルートと、車で登るルートがあります。徒歩はサンダルでは厳しい。見晴らしがよく、自然の中で気持ちのよい場所です
