This botanical garden is in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. In addition to direct management from producers, this garden was built to offer plant growing advice and training for volunteers and local residents to help promote the planting of trees, flowers and so on in the population. The grounds have over 2,000 varieties of plants and trees, including trees for exhibition, and the scenery changes with the season for year-round enjoyment.

無料の梅園があるということで伺いました。県道をはさんで東園、西園があります。駐車場はちょっと出入りがしにくいですが、道路沿いに37台分のスペースがあります。梅園は事務所のある西園にあり、今回は西園しか行っていません。梅園は段差がある丘の上下に植えられていて、散策にも良いでしょう。思ったほどの規模ではなかったです。また、梅に限ったことではないのですが、多くの品種を標本的に置くポリシーのようで、そのた...

市街地から離れているのであまり混雑していない公園です。駐車場は少なめなのですが敷地は広大ですのでのんびりできます。

訪問時は西園と梅園は工事中で入れず、東園のみ入場可でした。植樹された草木はほぼ全て説明板が付されており種類がよくわかります。
