Asago Art Village Museum

Art Museum
Located approximately ten minutes by car from JR Arai Station, this art museum is directly below the Tataragi Dam. It features about 30 contemporary sculptures on display in the nearby 10-hectare Asago Art Forest. It is also the memorial hall of Toshio Yodoi, a sculptor from Asago City who was awarded the Order of Culture, and his works are always displayed not only in the museum but also in the sculpture park. It also holds special exhibitions and child art camps. You can also rent bicycle at the museum and stroll through the art forest.
