Takatoriyama Park
"A 10-minute walk from the ""Takatori Shogakko"" bus stop a 10-minute ride on the Shonan Takatori Danchi Loop bus leaving from Keikyu Oppama Station. This park is built around Mt. Takatori, a mountain also known as the ""Shonan Myogi"" which is notable for its boulders with precipitous, vertical faces. There's an observatory at the top of the mountain, and on clear days visitors can enjoy a vast, panoramic view which includes Mt. Fuji. Another highlight is the giant Buddha statue carved into the mountain near the top. There are also hiking courses along which you can hike and take in seasonal scenery. In order to go rock climbing here, you must first register with the Mt. Takatori Mountain Climbing Council."
