50 minutes from the Usui-Karuizawa Interchange on the Joshin-etsu Expressway via National Route 18/National Route 146. At this roadside rest stop, located at the entrance to the vast Asama Farm sprawling 1,300 meters above sea level, visitors can get a bite to eat and enjoy picking out souvenirs and gifts. The rest stop's roast beef donburi rice bowl, featured on television, is limited to just a few customers a day and consists of homemade roast beef served over rice with a side salad of alpine vegetables, an exquisite flavor combination. The facility also offers candle making and other classes and has a petting zoo with goats and sheep. During the Golden Week and summer holidays, kids can also go on horseback rides.

うさぎ、羊、やぎ等と触れ合うことができるので、小さいお子様がいるご家庭には楽しい体験ができる施設です。餌やりも可能で、人懐っこい動物ばかりで可愛いです。子ども好きなのか、小さい子が来ると寄ってくる感じでした。1階の茶屋にある特濃ソフトクリームは濃厚で絶品です。味がしっかりしていて、ほんのりした甘みもあっておすすめ。ぜひ食べてもらいたい味です。

普通に洋食が食べられる。建物の外でうさぎややぎの餌やりができるので子供連れにはいいだろう。えさは100円。においがかすかにはするので、苦手な人は注意。
