Lake Akaya Memorial Park
This park is located along the Mikuni Highway in Aimata, Minakami Town, Tone County on the shore of Lake Akaya, a man-made lake formed by Aimata Dam. Visitors can enjoy activities such as fishing and boating. The park is also equipped with a promenade for enjoying the nature of the lakeshore. The park's 450-year-old Kenshin no Sakasazakura cherry blossom tree, which has been designated as a Prefectural Natural Monument, blooms in the spring.
