JAXA Uchinoura Space Center
This facility, located two hours from the Kagoshima interchange on the Kyushu Expressway via the Kasanohara interchange on the Osumi Jukan Road, is used primarily for scientific observation rocket and satellite launches as well as for tracking and data acquisition.
