東京メトロ銀座線の浅草駅２番出口の目の前に有る、江戸時代から続く現在の店主で六代目の老舗の甘味処です。厳選した素材を用いて伝統の磨かれた技で造られる磨かれた味わいの餡や、それ自体が無味無臭で誤魔化しの効かない寒天を用いた美味しい処取りの特製西山あんみつはインスタ映えする派手さは無いが素材を活かした深い味わいを感じます。

雷門から歩いて１分、甘味処の西山があります。あんみつなどの甘味のメニューがたくさん。落ち着いた雰囲気の店内で、ゆったりと休みながら、あんみつを楽しむことができました。浅草に行くときは、いつもここによります。
