This veteran anmitsu sweet shop has been operating since 1948. The name Mihashi comes from the three bridges that used to be on the approach road to Kaneiji Temple. While anmitsu is their specialty, they provide a menu of simple, old-fashioned Japanese sweets. A variety of seasonal fruits makes their periodic anmitsu a hit. The Ueno Main Store also offers light fare like oden hot-pot, sekihan red rice, and bean jams including kidney bean.

Very nice japanese desserts. i had the redbean soup with mochi (warm) and it was amazing! Theres usually a queue, but it does move quite fast.
