Hakata Kinryu (Minami Hana-ga-shima Restaurant) (博多金龍 花ヶ島店)

This ramen noodle restaurant offers mainly rich pork-based tonkotsu ramen as well as a variety of other ramen noodle dishes. Extra toppings such as boiled eggs, chashu (roasted pork fillet), and kikurage (cloud ear mushroom) are available, as well as a second serving of noodles. The simple flavor of the thick noodles with a soy sauce flavored soft-boiled egg is popular. The restaurant also has a small library of comic books which guests can enjoy while waiting to be served.

Review of Hakata Kinryu Minami Hana-Ga-Shima

TripAdvisor Traveler Rating

An unmissable highlight of Kyushu, Miyazaki prefecture satisfies nature lovers with its dramatic gorges cut out of rugged cliffs, leading into waterfalls and beaches of green-blue water popular among surfers. Takachiho Gorge in the north of the prefecture tells a tale of centuries-old Japanese mythology in a fantastic setting, allowing visitors to explore the waters by boat before heading up to the cave at the Awano Iwato Shrine, where the sun goddess was said to have hidden, plunging the world into darkness.
