Global Tower

A symbolic, 125-meter-tall tower located on the grounds of the B-Con Plaza multipurpose complex situated along Fujimi-dori Street in Yamanote-cho, Beppu City. Outfitted with an observation deck 100 meters above the ground, visitors can get a 360-degree, panoramic view of Beppu City. The observation deck is also popular because of its night view, selected for inclusion in a list of Japan’s “Night View Heritages.”

車は1時間無料の別府公園の前にある駐車場に止めて歩いて来ました。高速のエレベーターで展望デッキへ行きます。とても見晴らしいいです。300円の入場料でした。

誕生日のお祝いに久しぶりに別府を訪れました。初めてグローバルタワーの展望台に上がりました。先にリクルート姿の団体さんがいて、ここで混み合うのは怖いな。それじゃなくたって高くてスケスケの展望デッキはそんなに広くないのだから。こんなに高いのに高速エレベーターの行先ボタンの選択肢が少なっ！ちょっとレトロな不思議な乗り物です。通常300円のところお誕生日利用でタダでした。観光地なのに駐車場代もタダだったし...
