"A park located in Okawachi-cho, Imari City. This area was the location of pottery studios which officially supplied what was Nabeshima Domain from the Edo to the Meiji periods. Today, the area has been designated a National Historic Site due to the history of its ""secret"" kilns and this bridge marks its entrance. The ancient climbing kiln, checkpoint barrier, and potter's home have been rebuilt. Other park facilities include an observatory, pottery plaza, and ""Meotoshi"" tower outfitted with 14 Imari ware wind bells which create beautiful sounds."

大川内山の窯元群と隣接した川沿いにある公園。大川内山の駐車場から、歩いて行ける範囲で散策しましたが、多分もっと広いのだと思います。「とうこうはし」を渡ると、伊万里焼の鈴がいくつもあり、写真スポットとして良い所でした。

鍋島藩窯公園がある大川内山は周りを山に囲まれており、江戸時代に製作技法が外に漏れないようにするため、佐賀藩の御用窯として陶磁器生産の拠点を有田から大川内山に移され、入口に番所を設けて外部の侵入を阻止するなど、厳重に管理することで高度な技法が流出するのを防いでいた歴史がある。平成15年（2003）9月には、「大川内鍋島窯跡」として国の史跡に指定され、伊万里市を代表する観光スポットです。夏には風鈴まつ...
鮮やかで静かで気持ちいい

夏の終わりに訪れました。山に位置する公園で麓には広めの駐車場がありますが、上のほうにはありません。時間と体力に余裕があれば麓に車を停めて窯元のお店が立ち並ぶ坂道を登っていくのがいいと思います。公園の中はかなり草が茂っていて虫よけ必須ですが、中央まで進むことをお勧めします。陶器のかけらをモザイク状にはめ込んだ展望台はとても鮮やかで山の中という立地もあり幻想的ですらあります。
