"A Shinto shrine located in Shirakabe, Miyaki Town, Miyaki County, Saga Prefecture. Records state the shrine was founded in 724. During the Okayu Dameshi fortune telling event (popularly known as ""Okai-san"") held each year on March 15, a bowl of okayu rice porridge made on February 26 and offered to the gods is made viewable to the public; the pattern of mold on the porridge is said to predict whether the future brings good luck or bad luck, rich harvests or disasters, and the festival is considered one of the three great okayu rice porridge festivals of Japan."

バス利用は久留米からが便利です

肥前国一之宮ですがバス利用の場合は、久留米（筑後国）からが便利です。しかし元々本数が少ないので往復のバスの時間は事前にご確認を。参拝した日はあいにくの雨で、鳥居の先の100段以上ある急な石段は注意深く上がりました。石段には手すりがあったので助かりました。境内からは筑後平野が見渡せ、高良大社と共に見守っているのだなと感じました。（後々、「肥前国一之宮だが何故？？？」というちょっとした疑問がわき...

全国の一宮巡りの一環として行きました。２度目でしたが、今回は車で社殿近くの駐車場まで行ったので、急な石段は避けることができました。お粥にできるカビで占う神事を行う神聖な場所がありました。社務所で御朱印をいただきました。
