Shinkabukiza Theater
"The Shinkabukiza Theater has convenient, direct access to and from Kintetsu Railway's Osaka Uehommachi Station. Part of the appeal of this theater is that the audience members are very close to the performers on stage. The Shinkabukiza Theater hosts a wide range of difference types of performance, from Manzai (stand-up comedy performed by a pair of comedians) to performances by popular singers. The original Shinkabukiza Theater, which had become rather dilapidated, was closed in 2009, and the Theater moved into its current premises, which opened for the first performance in 2010. For the Kokeraotoshi (inaugural performances in a new theater), the ""21st Century Kabuki Gumi"" troupe performed ""Taiko Sanbaso"" and ""Yoshitsune Senbonzakura Yoshino Yama."""
