Here pieces of Arita ware from a variety of periods (such as old Imari, Kakiemon, and Nabeshima Domain Kiln-style wares) are displayed in a recreation of the Zwinger palace in Dresden, Germany. Particularly noteworthy is the great 183 centimeter tall flower vase. It is said to have wowed people from around the world when it was displayed at the 1873 Vienna World's Fair. A Baroque garden has been recreated on the facility's grounds, and there is also an Arita ware workshop where visitors can try their hand at crafting a ceramics piece on a potter's wheel.

ヨーロッパの宮殿の様で、とても素晴らしくて驚きでした。建物が全て有田焼で出来ているようでした。お庭も素敵で、フランスの古城みたいな雰囲気でした。もったいない！もっと広告するべきです。人があまりいなくて、お店も閉まっていたので、経営的にはどうなのか．．．なくなる前に行くべきです！なくさないで！
宮殿と庭園

中世ヨーロッパ風の重厚な宮殿と広々とした綺麗な庭園のある観光施設です。入園は無料で自由に散策でき、インスタ映えのする写真が撮れます。なお、ツヴィンガー宮殿の中は有田焼ミュージアムになっていますが休業中でした。

磁器の町有田の街並みも魅力的でしたが、郊外のこの一角はまるで中世のヨーロッパにタイムスリップしたかのような空間です。特に中心に建つ荘厳なツヴィンガー宮殿は、マイセン磁器の製作を指示したドイツのアウグスト王によってドレスデンに建てられたものを模した建物です。臨時休館のために内部の見学ができなかったのは極めて残念で、訪れる方もまばらなので、なにか映画「千と千尋の神隠し」に登場したテーマパーク跡のよう...
