Roadside Station Kitaharima Eco Museum
"This Roadside Station is 15 minutes from the Chugoku Expressway's Takinoyashiro Interchange via National Route 175 in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. At 135 degrees east longitude and 35 degrees north latitude, it's known as the ""Navel of Japan."" In addition to shopping, dining, and tourist information, it holds art exhibits and offers workshops taught by locals on activities like making sacred Shinto shimenawa ropes. The gift shop sells local and specialty products, items made with the historic, high class dyed fabric banshu-ori, and boxed lunches and side dishes with Kurodasho wagyu beef and Banshu Hyakunichi-dori chicken. Their locally inspired menu featuring regional ingredients is also popular."
