山の上にあるので秩父駅、西武秩父駅いずれもタクシー利用がおすすめです。棟方志功の二菩薩と十大弟子をはじめ、志功の力作が並んでいます。志功のファンにはたまりません。青森と双璧を並べる美術館です。下りは歩いても山上を楽しみながら駅にすぐ着きました。
