Suigetsuji Temple
Suigetsuji Temple was founded in 1384 and is located in Kozawamata in the town of Otaki, Isumi County. It is known as a viewing spot for azaleas, and about 500 shrubs of iwatsutsuji (a species of wild azaleas) bloom from late March to late April. A path leads from the temple along the Yoro River to the waterfalls in the Yoro gorge, culminating in Awamata Falls.
